These are Peugeots we are breaking up for used parts at Sparesboyz. If yours is the same model, engine and gearbox, the part you need may come off one of these cars.
Parts are taken off these cars as they sell, so a car on this list is a starting point, not a promise that a particular part is still there. Pick the car closest to yours, tell us which part you are after, and we will check whether it is still on the car.
Each car stays on this page for four months from the day it is listed. The stock ref on each card goes through with your enquiry so we know exactly which car you mean.
No car matches that right now.
Clear a filter, or tell us the part you need and we will check for you.
The first 208 reached South Africa in October 2012 with two quite different petrol engines: a three-cylinder 1.2 VTi and a four-cylinder 1.6 VTi, both with a five-speed manual. The range also gained a 1.0 three-cylinder, and the 1.6 turbo GTi with a six-speed manual arrived in July 2013. The current-shape 208, sold here from 2021, uses a 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder with or without a turbo. The three-cylinder engines use a timing belt that runs in oil, while the 1.6 VTi and 1.6 turbo use a chain. So match the engine size and year, not just the badge.
When you ask: Tell us the year, the engine size (1.0, 1.2 or 1.6), whether it is a turbo, and manual or automatic. If you can read the engine code on your own engine, send that too.

Two quite different 308s were sold in South Africa. The first, launched here in 2008, used 1.6 VTi and 1.6 turbo petrol engines shared with the 207, with a five-speed manual, and a 1.6 HDi turbodiesel followed. The second, from March 2015, switched to a 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder turbo in two outputs: 81 kW with a five-speed manual and 96 kW with a six-speed manual. The 1.6 petrols use a timing chain and the 1.2 PureTech uses a belt that runs in oil, so the year decides which engine parts fit.
When you ask: Give us the year and the engine size first; on a 1.2, tell us the power (81 or 96 kW) or trim if you know it, and whether it is manual or automatic.

The 206 arrived in South Africa in August 2000 as a 2.0 GTi, and the everyday 1.4 and 1.6 models followed a year later. CAR magazine records the 1.4 starting out as an eight-valve engine, then being upspecced to four valves per cylinder when the budget 206 Popart 1.4 arrived in July 2004, with power unchanged at 55 kW. So an early 1.4 and a later 1.4 can carry different engines. Check the year and the valve count before taking an engine or head part off a donor car.
When you ask: Tell us the year, the engine size (1.4, 1.6 or 2.0), and on a 1.4 whether it is the 8-valve or 16-valve engine. The engine code from your own car settles it.

Peugeots we strip less often are grouped here. Engine and gearbox choices changed during the life of almost every Peugeot model, so the year, the engine size and the gearbox of your own car are what tell us whether a part from one of these cars will fit it.
When you ask: Give us the model, the year, the engine size and manual or automatic. The VIN or engine code from your own car helps us match the right donor.

The revised 207 range of 2009 listed two different 1.4 petrol versions, the 1.4 Urban and the 1.4 VTT Active, alongside a 1.6 VTi petrol, a 1.6 HDi turbodiesel and a turbocharged 1.6 THP petrol in the GTi and the CC Sport. Because the 207 had more than one 1.4, a donor with the same engine size is not automatically the same engine: some 207 1.4s are 8-valve and some are 16-valve. The 1.6 VTi and 1.6 THP use a timing chain.
When you ask: Give us the year, the engine size, and petrol or diesel. On a 1.4, tell us if it is the 8-valve or 16-valve engine, or send the engine code, so we match the right one.

The first 3008 was launched in South Africa in early 2010 with three four-cylinder engines: an 88 kW 1.6 VTi petrol with a five-speed manual, a 115 kW 1.6 THP turbo petrol, and a 110 kW 2.0 HDi turbodiesel, the last two with a six-speed manual. The 1.6 VTi and 1.6 THP share a size but only one is turbocharged, so a 1.6 donor is not automatically a match. Both use a timing chain, while the 2.0 HDi uses a belt. By 2021 the facelifted 3008 here came only as a 1.6 THP automatic.
When you ask: Tell us the year, whether it is the 1.6 VTi, the 1.6 THP turbo or the 2.0 HDi diesel, and manual or automatic.

Early South African 2008s used a 1.6 four-cylinder petrol engine with a five-speed manual. The facelift of March 2017 changed the line-up to a 1.6 turbodiesel with a five-speed manual and a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder petrol paired with a new six-speed automatic. That makes the year the first thing to check on a 2008: the early 1.6 petrol and the later 1.2 turbo are different engines, and the 1.6 petrol uses a timing chain while the 1.2 uses a belt that runs in oil.
When you ask: Tell us the year, the engine size, petrol or diesel, and manual or automatic.
