Our story starts in 1988, when John Hunt and Paul Shannon began the partnership that would grow into the Sparesboyz Group. The early 1990s saw the group open its first marque-specific divisions — Merbeda for Mercedes in 1990, Volksie for Volkswagen in 1991, and Beemer / B+O for BMW in 1992 — laying the foundation for the specialist model that defines us today.
In 2004 the Sparesboyz brand was formalised, bringing Mercedes, BMW, Honda and Tata under one roof. Peugeot entered the family in 2010 when the Euroboyz division launched to serve Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and Volvo owners. Pro Peugeot Spares is the Peugeot arm of that Euroboyz division — a dedicated marque specialist backed by everything the wider group has learned over three-and-a-half decades in the trade.
Today we run the Peugeot operation from Briardene, Durban North, with a Cape Town branch opened in 2015 supporting the Western Cape. From the nimble 208 and versatile 3008 through to the spacious 5008 and workhorse Partner, we stock parts across the full Peugeot range — all backed by a 12,000+ worldwide supplier database and delivered to every SA province.
